Senior System Software Engineer
You design, develop, automate, and report integration and system tests across firmware and device drivers. You shape test strategy, build scalable pipelines and internal tools, investigate complex cross-layer issues, improve validation and CI/CD processes, and mentor engineers while collaborating with development and QA teams.
Responsibilities
- Design test infrastructure and features
- Design, implement, execute, and report high-quality system software tests
- Develop reusable and scalable pipeline solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain internal tools
- Own technically challenging areas and achieve feature coverage
- Triage and debug internal and external issues
- Improve design, coding, and implementation processes
- Develop acceptance pipelines across component teams
- Drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions
- Mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in low-level system testing and integration
- Experience with RTOS and complex boot logic
- Experience with Linux and device drivers
- Experience developing tests using Python and C/C++
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Experience with build and integration tools and modern testing practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex cross-layer issues
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with server-class systems, OpenBMC, Zephyr, QEMU, or similar emulation environments is desirable
