Senior Systems Engineer IAM

You will manage and optimize identity and access infrastructure, including Okta, RBAC, adaptive security policies, and identity lifecycle management. You will build automation workflows, execute application integrations, troubleshoot complex access issues, mentor Service Desk members, and create documentation and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage Okta functionality, identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and adaptive security policies
• Build automated workflows using Workato, Okta Workflows, and Lumos
• Plan and execute SAML, OIDC, and OAuth application integrations
• Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for complex access issues
• Mentor and train Service Desk team members
• Develop documentation and standard operating procedures
• Participate in global team collaboration

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Identity and Access Management
• Strong expertise in Okta administration and identity lifecycle management
• Knowledge of Okta security capabilities
• Okta Administrator or Consultant certification preferred
• Experience with Lumos or similar identity governance platforms
• Experience building automation workflows with Workato or Okta Workflows
• Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication issues, API failures, and access incidents
• Fluency with REST APIs and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Understanding of RBAC, identity governance, PAM, and zero-trust security principles
• Familiarity with Google Workspace Enterprise
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
