Senior Test Analyst

Salary: AUD 85 - 110 per hour

• Market Rates | 6-month contract + extensions

We are on the search for multiple experienced Senior Test Analysts for contract opportunities based in Adelaide CBD. This is a full-time contract engagement for an initial period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and successful delivery in a number of web and digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Take full ownership of all testing deliverables from day one, working self-sufficiently and proactively.
• Prepare Test Scenarios covering a range of different initiatives that the organisation is rolling out.
• Complete functional, integration, regression and accessibility testing.
• Complete User-acceptance testing with key stakeholders.
• Lead complex testing activities on large, highly integrated solutions.
• Create, execute, and document functional, non-functional, business acceptance, and regression test cases.
• Produce test deliverables documentation, including Master Test Plans, Detailed Test Plans, Test Summary Reports, Test Incident (Defect) Reports, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Traceability Matrices.
• Worked as part of an agile, cross-functional team.
• Formulate robust test plans and guide the project team to achieve set objectives.
• Report testing progress precisely and concisely to program teams and clients regularly.
• Maintain current knowledge of testing and quality assurance concepts and practices.
• Manage defect management and reporting, bug tracking and defect triage using JIRA Test Management Tool
• Using Jira and Zephyr testing tool for creation and execution of test cases, creation of testing dashboard, traceability matrix, and defect management
  

We are seeking candidates with:

• 8+ Years demonstrated, hands-on testing experience in a Senior Tester or Test Lead position.
• Bachelor’s degree or Postgrad in Information System or Information Technology.
• Must have ISTQB Foundations or equivalent.
• Previous Higher Education experience is desirable.
• Familiarisation with Learning and Student systems application is desirable
• Familiarisation and experience with Peoplesoft is desirable
• Familiarisation and experience with Adobe and or CRM is desirable
