Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Manager/QA Lead to drive Quality Assurance efforts within an Agile Release Train in a significant project. The team operates in a diverse, multi-national environment with members located across Nordic countries, Poland, and India. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in leading QA projects while comprehensively understanding customer needs in the financial domain, specifically within the mortgage sector.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the QA efforts within the Agile Release Train (ART).

  • Ensure comprehensive testing is planned and executed following internal processes.

  • Manage both functional and non-functional testing across multiple scrum teams.

  • Drive continuous improvements and best practices in testing processes.

  • Facilitate clear communication within the ART.

  • Contribute to release readiness assessments and provide quality metrics.

  • Identify QA-related impediments and derive solutions for efficient test progress.

  • Enhance test automation and coverage within the project.

  • Align testing priorities with ART and Product Management.

  • Report on testing progress and quality risk status to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance leadership.

  • In-depth financial domain knowledge, preferably in the mortgage area.

  • Experience with various test management tools and practices.

  • Proven track record in managing functional and non-functional testing.

  • Experience with planning and reporting for system tests and user acceptance tests.

  • Demonstrated success in leading significant QA projects.

  • Familiarity with web and API-related testing, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

  • Technologies used: Java, Kafka, C#, Weblogic, SQL, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.

  • Experience in managing tests on mainframe environments is advantageous.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in AI and Test Automation.

  • Experience with Non-Functional testing.

  • Proactive attitude and a strong drive for success.

Other Details

This role will require 3 days of office presence per week in locations within Poland, specifically Warsaw and Tricity.
