KBR is growing its Project Management Office Consultancy (PMO) team for an exciting, high-profile infrastructure development in Riyadh, KSA. The PMO project role would be based full-time in the client’s offices in Riyadh, KSA.
Job purpose
The Senior Training & Induction Manager is responsible for providing inductions to mobilizing Project Management Consultants (PMCs), contractors and design consultants, as well as developing learning and development strategies. Duties include assessing necessary skills, vetting PMC trainers (train the trainers) and implementing training strategies. The role includes oversight of PMCs to confirm compliance with orientation for the development purpose, organizational structure, security and emergency management, and HSE requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide onboarding and orientation for mobilizing employees
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations
- Identify gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher knowledge and safety among staff
- Develop training programs that support and enable the development of recent university graduates in career growth
- Research new training supplies and materials that can enhance training procedures while providing value to employees
- Identify future training needs and create a curriculum to facilitate that training
- Communicate with management, trainers and team members to ensure that all needs are met
- Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the-job training for new hires
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
- Oversee training and development staff
- Assess employees’ needs for training
- Align training with the organization’s goals
- Create and manage training budgets
- Develop and implement training programs
- Review and select training materials from a variety of vendors
- Update training programs to ensure that they are relevant
- Teach training methods and skills to instructors and supervisors
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors
- Maintain training records for compliance and track employee progress
Qualifications & experience
Education
Bachelor degree in human resources, education, business or similar.
Preferred certifications
Certifications in training and development, e.g. Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Association for Talent Development (ATD), or similar.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in the development, implementation and management of Learning Management Systems.
Proven experience in Learning Management Systems.
