Role summary:

We are seeking a UI Designer join our team. In this role you will design visually engaging and user-friendly interfaces for digital platforms, ensuring consistency and adherence to design standards. You will translate UX concepts into polished UI designs, focusing on usability, layout, typography, and seamless user interactions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Execute visually compelling and user-friendly interface designs across web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and product teams to translate wireframes and concepts into high-quality UI designs aligned with user needs and business goals.
  • Follow established design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across deliverables.
  • Contribute to ideation and brainstorming sessions, supporting both creative exploration and refinement of ideas.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and resolve UI-related challenges.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs to enhance usability and visual appeal.

Skills and Competencies

  • 1-2 year of industry experience with a strong interest in human-centered design principles.
  • Basic understanding of user-centered design methods and usability best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in UI design for web and/or mobile platforms, including responsive design fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries; ability to follow and contribute to existing guidelines.
  • Exposure to digital/creative agency environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced, collaborative team setup.
  • Capable of translating simple ideas and wireframes into clean, visually appealing interfaces.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present and explain design decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for layout, typography, and visual consistency.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar. Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision or Miro is a plus.
  • Open to feedback and eager to learn, grow, and explore new areas within design.
  • Curious and proactive in staying updated with UI trends, tools, and best practices.
