ServiceNow Test Engineer
Salary: $800 - $1k p.d. + + Super
We're seeking an experienced ServiceNow Test Engineer to join a fast-paced project delivering custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. This role is ideal for a technically skilled ServiceNow professional who specialises in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow applications.
This is not a traditional testing role. You'll work closely with developers, business SMEs, and project stakeholders to validate custom-built ServiceNow solutions, understand application architecture, and deliver high-quality testing across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow applications.
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing across custom ServiceNow solutions.
- Validate App Engine applications against business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and Business SMEs to clarify, validate, and refine requirements.
- Assess the impact of system changes across related processes and components.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience testing ServiceNow applications.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow App Engine development.
- Experience working with UI Builder and Glide API.
- Strong JavaScript skills within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience testing custom applications and custom widgets.
- Ability to work closely with Business SMEs and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Experience creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
