Shift Manager EVS

Summary: Responsible for managing the work activities of environmental services personnel.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains a safety program to ensure all team members have a safe work environment.
• Frequently update yourself on new products and materials for continuous operational improvement.
• Maintains the approved preventative maintenance program on all equipment.
• Completes necessary reports in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
• Maintains an inspection program for all EVS responsible areas.
• Proficiently utilizes program to submit, track, and follow-up on work orders
• Conducts inspections on all casino and non-gaming EVS areas daily.
• Trains employees in proper procedures, cleaning and safety programs
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to do the work of those supervised.
• Excellent communication skills and strong time management skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Regularly required to see, talk, hear; walk and stand.
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to sit; or stoop.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.
