Build a Career That Makes a Difference Every Day!

At Superior Van & Mobility, we believe a great career is about more than turning wrenches—it’s about using your skills to help people regain their independence.

As a trusted leader in the automotive mobility industry, we provide wheelchair-accessible vehicles, adaptive driving equipment, lifts, and other mobility solutions for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and families. We’re looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to help lead our service team and keep our shop running safely, efficiently, and at its best.

If you’re an experienced automotive professional who enjoys leading a team, solving problems, working with customers, and still getting your hands dirty when needed, this could be the opportunity for you.

As Our Shop Foreman, You’ll:

Lead the Shop

  • Distribute jobs and verify that technicians have the parts and information needed to complete their work efficiently
  • Assist in supervising, supporting, and training technicians
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and productive shop environment
  • Work closely with the General Manager to keep service operations running smoothly and efficiently

Take Care of Our Customers

  • Listen to customer concerns and help determine their service and repair needs
  • Provide professional, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service
  • Stay current on new mobility products, features, and accessories and communicate their benefits to customers

Keep Work Moving

  • Prepare work orders and identify parts needed for upcoming jobs
  • Assist with service scheduling to help maximize shop productivity and billed hours
  • Coordinate with the Office Administrator and General Manager regarding parts, scheduling, and customer needs
  • Assist with inventory control, including organization, audits, ordering, receiving, and shop supplies
  • Ensure parts are properly accounted for and available to technicians when needed
  • Work with the General Manager to prepare used vehicles for sale

Step In as a Technician When Needed

As Shop Foreman, you’ll lead the team—but you’ll also be ready to jump in and help when needed. This may include:

  • Diagnosing mechanical or equipment issues
  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing adaptive mobility equipment
  • Working with driving aids, restraint systems, wheelchair lifts, and other mobility equipment
  • Completing repairs and installations according to company and National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) standards
  • Documenting problems, repairs, and corrective actions accurately
