Green ight is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Application Manager specializing in Application Packaging, Deployment, and Microsoft Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications while supporting cloud-based infrastructure and modern workplace solutions. This role requires strong experience with application lifecycle management, automation, Azure services, and endpoint management technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and deploy application packages using technologies such as:
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM)
  • MSIX
  • MSI
  • App-V
• Perform application packaging, repackaging, upgrades, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot application installation and deployment issues.
• Ensure software compatibility across Windows operating systems.
• Create deployment documentation and standard operating procedures.

Azure & Cloud Management

• Support and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Configure and manage Azure resources including:
  • Virtual Machines
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Entra ID)
  • Azure Networking
• Monitor cloud resources and optimize performance and cost.
• Implement security best practices within Azure environments.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using:
  • PowerShell
  • Azure CLI
  • ARM Templates/Bicep (preferred)
• Automate software deployment and configuration tasks.
• Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation initiatives.

Endpoint Management

• Manage Windows 10/11 devices using Microsoft Intune and MECM.
• Configure device compliance policies and application deployments.
• Support endpoint security solutions including Microsoft Defender.

Support & Collaboration

• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and development teams.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for application and deployment issues.
• Participate in change management, release management, and project activities.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Application Packaging.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience with Azure AD (Entra ID) and Azure Virtual Desktop.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Application Packaging and Software Deployment.
• 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments preferred.
