Software & Applications Manager – Enterprise Platforms & AI

We are seeking a Software & Applications Manager to manage the delivery, enhancement and modernisation of enterprise applications supporting banking, fintech and regulated business environments. The role will work closely with business, technology, risk, compliance and external vendors to deliver scalable application and integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead end-to-end application delivery covering requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing and production rollout.

•Manage enterprise application enhancement and modernisation initiatives across payments, risk, financial and business platforms.

•Analyse and manage application integrations using REST APIs, JSON, SQL and data mapping.

•Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

•Lead SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end application testing, ensuring production readiness and stakeholder sign-off.

•Collaborate with software engineering, data engineering, QA, business and external vendors throughout the SDLC.

•Support AI/LLM-enabled enterprise applications, including RAG-based solutions, AI-assisted workflows and prompt engineering.

•Drive Agile delivery, backlog management, application documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

•Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.

•Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise applications, business systems, technology consulting or software delivery.

•Strong experience in application modernisation, system integration and full SDLC delivery.

•Hands-on knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, JSON, data mapping and application interfaces.

•Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira/Azure DevOps, SIT and UAT.

•Experience working with banking, payments, fintech, insurance or other regulated environments.

•Exposure to Generative AI, LLM, RAG or AI-enabled enterprise applications.

•Strong stakeholder, vendor management and communication skills
