Software & Applications Manager – Regulatory Technology (Banking)
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Software & Applications Manager with strong experience in banking, regulatory technology, and financial risk applications. The role will manage technology solutions supporting Basel 4 (MAS637), ICAAP, LCR, NSFR, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver software applications supporting banking and regulatory requirements.
- Lead application analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and enhancement.
- Support Basel 4 (MAS637), ICAAP, LCR, NSFR, ALMM, PRA110, and IRRBB initiatives.
- Work on solutions covering credit risk, operational risk, market risk, and liquidity risk.
- Analyze application and data gaps and improve data sourcing, integration, and reconciliation.
- Ensure regulatory applications provide accurate and reliable reporting.
- Work with risk, finance, modeling, reporting, operations, and technology teams.
- Manage software vendors and technology partners and monitor solution delivery.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve application efficiency.
- Support application enhancements and regulatory change initiatives.
- Provide technology and application guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or technology.
- Strong experience in banking applications, regulatory technology, and solution delivery.
- Good knowledge of Basel 4 / MAS637, ICAAP, LCR, and NSFR.
- Understanding of credit risk, operational risk, market risk, and liquidity risk.
- Experience in application analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation.
- Experience managing software vendors and technology partners.
- Knowledge of data governance, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
