Software Architect
- Collaborate with customers to understand business needs and translate them into practical and cost-effective technical solutions.
- Define and maintain architecture standards, design principles, coding standards, and engineering best practices across projects.
- Review solution designs, technical documentation, and code to ensure quality, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Design and oversee system integrations using APIs, messaging technologies, cloud services, and modern architectural patterns.
- Support pre-sales by preparing solution architectures, technical proposals, effort estimates, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations.
- Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and architectural approaches, recommending innovations that improve engineering capability and business value.
- Resolve complex technical challenges and provide architectural guidance for critical design and implementation decisions.
- Mentor and coach Technical Leads, Software Engineers, and other technical team members while encouraging continuous learning and engineering excellence.
- Lead the adoption of AI-assisted software engineering by promoting the effective use of AI for solution design, code generation, testing, documentation, and developer productivity while ensuring responsible and code quality.
- Collaborate with engineering team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Design scalable, secure, high-performing, and maintainable software architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
- Drive the adoption of cloud-native development, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, automation, and modern software engineering practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- 8-10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in Software Architecture or senior technical leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, microservices, event-driven architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Java, or C++.
- Hands-on expertise in modern frameworks including Node.js, React.js, .NET, Flutter, or similar technologies.
- Experience with working directly with international customers in solution consulting or pre-sales engagements.
- Strong background in designing secure, scalable, and highly available software solutions.
- Practical exposure to AI-assisted software engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor,or similar), including quality assurance of AI-generated software artefacts.
- Solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure), and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
