Software Developer Intern (C++)
You will build computationally intensive trading and risk applications under the guidance of senior technologists. You will design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software, create exchange data decoders and instrument books, research large datasets with statistical analytics, and collaborate with developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions
- Create decoders for raw exchange packet data
- Build instrument books from decoded exchange data
- Develop applications that communicate executed trades to the compliance team
- Research large datasets using statistical analytics
- Advocate for innovative solutions to complex problems
- Collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related science discipline
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
- Exposure to TCP/IP network programming, multithreaded applications, computational intelligence, algorithms, real-time programming, or GUI programming
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
- Software development skills in C++ or C
