Software Developer Intern
You will build advanced trading and risk applications and develop computationally intensive software under the guidance of senior technologists. You will design, develop, test, and deploy software, conduct statistical research on large datasets, solve complex problems, and collaborate with developers, traders, researchers, and analysts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions
- Create decoders for raw exchange packet data
- Create normalizers that build instrument books from decoded exchange data
- Create applications that facilitate communication about executed trades
- Identify solutions to complex problems and advocate for their implementation
- Conduct statistical analytics on large datasets
- Collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, machine learning, or a related science discipline
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Exposure to network programming, multi-threaded applications, computational intelligence, algorithms, real-time programming, or GUI programming
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
- Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent software development skills in C++, Python, or Java
