Job Summary
We seek an experienced Java Developer with 6–8+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, and SQL databases in Agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java applications using Java 8/11/17 to deliver robust software solutions
- Design and implement Microservices architectures to support scalable and modular systems
- Build and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration between services and external systems
- Apply expertise in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) to design efficient data models and optimize queries
- Utilize JPA/Hibernate or similar ORM frameworks to manage database interactions and ensure data integrity
- Manage source code and version control using Git to maintain code quality and collaboration
- Use build tools such as Maven or Gradle to automate project builds and dependency management
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve software defects to maintain high system reliability and performance
- Collaborate effectively within Agile development teams to deliver iterative software releases
- (Preferred) Apply knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment automation and scalability
Required competencies and certifications
- 6–8+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot
- Strong experience designing and developing Microservices
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate or similar ORM frameworks
- Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
