Software Engineer - APEX
You will work with end-users to define specifications and develop software solutions using Oracle APEX, Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL. You will maintain existing Oracle systems and integrations, troubleshoot and optimize APEX applications, improve development processes, follow coding standards, and write technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Work with end-users to define specifications and develop software solutions
- Work in a complex and non-routine environment requiring advanced technical and business skills
- Maintain and support existing Oracle systems and third-party integrations
- Improve development processes and follow coding standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize APEX applications for performance
- Write technical documentation for applications, processes, and APIs
Requirements
- 5+ years of application development experience
- 3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience
- 3+ years of Oracle APEX experience
- Experience with data modeling
- Experience with Git version control
- Experience with a scripting language such as shell scripting, Python, or Node
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web development, or REST web services is desirable
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is desirable
- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes is desirable
