Software Engineer Backend Product

You will build backend-leaning product features for an AI analytics platform. You will develop APIs, command-line interfaces, MCP integrations, access control systems, and enterprise workflows while owning full-stack changes from backend policy enforcement through admin-facing experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend APIs and command-line interfaces
• Design MCP server and client implementations
• Design and implement role-based access control systems
• Implement admin request and approval workflows
• Own full-stack product changes end-to-end
• Propose and implement scalable systems
• Collaborate on technical architecture and product changes

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience
• Experience building complex systems with intricate business logic
• Interest in or experience with agentic workflows
• Experience working in a remote-first team
• Experience with RFCs, code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Familiarity with SSO
• Familiarity with SCIM-based provisioning
• Familiarity with audit logs
• Familiarity with MFA
• Familiarity with delegated access
• Strong communication skills
