Software Engineer
Role Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support business objectives and deliver a reliable user experience. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who writes clean, maintainable code, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and contributes to the continuous improvement of software systems, tools, and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications and system features.
· Translate business and user requirements into technical specifications and practical software solutions.
· Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following agreed coding standards.
· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve quality and maintainability.
· Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects across development, testing, and production environments.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.
· Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability through regular analysis and optimization.
· Support software releases, deployment activities, and post-release monitoring.
· Maintain technical documentation for systems, APIs, processes, and operational procedures.
· Stay current with relevant technologies, tools, frameworks, and software engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or are lated discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
· Proven experience in software development, application engineering, or a similar technical role.
· Strong programming capability in one or more languages such as Python, C#, or similar.
· Understanding of software development life cycle practices, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
· Experience with databases, APIs, version control systems, and modern development tools.
· Ability to analyse technical problems, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
· Hands-on experience applying AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Chat GPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to accelerate software development, generate technical documentation, support code reviews, or improve productivity.
· Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is added advantage
