What You Will Do

The Controls & Diagnostics Systems (CDS) organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Engineer I to join the CDS Florida organization. The qualified candidate will be responsible for some of the following:

• Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into lower level requirements and designs within an Agile Framework
• Conduct iterative prototyping and testing of requirements and designs
• Perform verification within the Agile Framework including regression analysis, test case development, test script development and evaluation of results
• Develop model based control systems and real-time engine parameter estimation models
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Participate in planning, estimating and tracking per Agile framework
  

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Solid track record of achieving results in a technical role
• Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure engineering environment
• Outstanding cross discipline communication skills

• Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
