The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. - Architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance iOS functionalities that support the discovery and engagement of Fitbit Premium features.
- Identify product gaps, propose architectural code improvements for long-term scalability, and suggest feature enhancements that drive user value.
- Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend/Android Engineers, and feature teams to define requirements, agree on API specifications, and ensure seamless integration of mobile features.
- Implement mobile solutions to surface the value of Premium features effectively. Contribute to and analyze A/B tests, feature rollouts, and analytics to drive subscription growth.
- Take responsibility for the software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, and operational maintenance.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with iOS application development.
- 2 years of experience with software development in Swift, and iOS Development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
