Software Engineer Intern (Embedded Systems)
We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern (Embedded Systems) to join our high-tech R&D and engineering team on a 1-year contract basis. This role offers hands-on experience developing software for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment, working alongside experienced engineers on real-world industrial systems.
Fresh graduates and candidates with limited industry experience are welcome to apply. We are looking for individuals with a strong technical foundation, curiosity to learn, and passion for software engineering.
What you will do:
Implement machine-side software components for communicating with equipment controllers, sensors and peripheral devices.
Develop hardware abstraction modules to standardize access to different machine interfaces and device configurations.
Create equipment simulators and test tools for validating machine software without requiring continuous access to physical equipment.
Perform machine integration testing, troubleshoot communication issues and document verified interface behavior.
Support on-machine installation, configuration and functional verification.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in C++, C#, Python or Rust, with knowledge of multithreaded and event-driven software development.
Knowledge of industrial communication, hardware interfacing, machine data acquisition or equipment-control systems.
Strong debugging, integration-testing and technical-documentation skills.
