Software Engineer Intern - Python, Summer 2027
You will join the Post Trade Technology or Data Engineering team for a 10-week internship, working with software engineers and traders to design and implement solutions to complex problems. You will take ownership of a project, build high-performance systems that process and analyze trading and market data, and present your work at the end of the program.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or an equivalent technical field
- Graduating by August 2028
- Major GPA of 3.5 or above
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on the first day of employment, including F-1 students using OPT or STEM
- Strong programming skills in object-oriented Python development
- Demonstrated experience with distributed systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with the trading team, obtain requirements, find solutions, and implement them cleanly and concisely
- Ability to create an understandable and testable codebase
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to mathematics and coding problems
- Passion for innovation and building systems from the ground up
- Adaptability
- Ability to work independently
