Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop innovatives software, enhance and maintain existing software application
Software designing, planning, design and analysis
Implement, customize, test, document and maintain software applications
Deliver projects on time and to specification with an appropriate level of quality

What skills and experience is required...

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related work experience
2+ years of progressive software development experience.
Strong experience with PHP or other object-oriented languages
Understanding of web application development and web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience with relational databases such as Amazon Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2 or MS SQL
A solid understanding of common design patterns
Experience with unit testing frameworks
Practical exposure and/or experience with building and integrating with RESTful API’s
Good communication skills.

A plus if you have

Exposure to Zend Framework
Experience building applications in the cloud with AWS or Azure
Experience creating applications with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
Experience working with and mentoring offshore teams
Worked on teams practicing agile development methodologies
Worked on customer facing SASS solutions with scaling considerations
