Software Engineer
Pittsburgh-based company specializing in wireless power, low power electronics design, and wireless communication solutions seeks a Software Engineer to support numerous application and product lines.
Overview
- Work with the engineering team designing software for various products
- Develop products using wireless technologies like Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, WIFI, etc...
- Provide necessary support for product releases
Required Skills
- Ability to evaluate product requirements to specify design criteria and tradeoffs
- Results & team oriented with a strong desire for hands-on work
- R&D work, building internal tools on demand
- Willingness to work on multiple concurrent projects
- Good communication skills required, interface with QA/Electrical/Mechanical/Management teams
- Organized, good documentation skills
Experience
- Preferred two years or more of programming experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Engineering preferred, Computer Science accepted
- Background knowledge of wireless protocols, especially Bluetooth and RFID
