Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and develop software products using industry standard technologies and agile practices
Translate user stories to product design, reference architecture and software artifacts
Work with peers (product leads, data science and machine learning engineers) across products to deliver maximum innovation and impact
Use your love of software to develop quality products
Take ownership of development and decision making
Respond to changing business requirements and work through ambiguity

Qualifications

Computer Science degree or demonstrable equivalent experience
7+ years of experience as a software engineer, developing and delivering enterprise software with the following:
- design and delivery of API applications
- proficient in C++ and/or Java (or any other comparable language)
- Experience with developing API based applications
- Experience with databases such as MS SQL or Oracle or MySQL
Agile methodology experience
Strong analytical mind and a confident decision maker
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate well, both technically and interpersonally
Ability to balance competing demands and adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of DICOM files, DICOM communication protocols, HL7 and FHIR standard preferred
Python experience preferred
10+ years of Medical Device or regulated industry experience preferred
