Software test engineer (Python) | International Engineering Project
Summary
Software Test Engineer designing and implementing automated tests in Python plus manual tests for safety-critical international engineering systems. Day-to-day work covers functional, integration, and regression testing, defect reporting, and V&V collaboration with developers and system engineers in Minsk.
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer (Python) to join an international engineering team developing software for complex safety-critical systems.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and analyze system and software requirements
- Design and implement automated tests in Python as well as manual tests
- Execute functional, integration and regression testing
- Analyze test results and document testing activities
- Identify, reproduce and report software defects
- Support verification and validation activities
- Collaborate closely with software developers, system engineers and QA specialists
- Contribute to improving testing processes, tools and automation
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
- 3+ years of commercial experience in Software Testing, Test Automation or Software Validation
- Solid Python programming skills (mandatory)
- Experience with both automated and manual testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- English B2 or higher (spoken and written)
- Embedded / industrial/ safety-critical project experience
- Knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V) processes
- ISTQB Foundation certification
- Experience in industrial automation, transportation or railway project
