Software Tester (Manual)
We are looking for a Software Application Tester with at least 2 years of experience in manual testing of software applications. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
To be successful in the role you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- 2+ years experience in Software Manual Testing.
- Knowledge of automated testing experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to execute functional test cases and business user scenarios and proven to work autonomously
- Ability to self-manage and work to tight timelines.
- Working knowledge of JIRA or other project tracking tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written/verbal communication.
- Experience working within the SDLC and as part of delivery teams, either Waterfall or Agile.
- Applicants should be a Singaporean citizen or hold permanent resident status only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements.
- Perform manual testing on software applications to identify defects.
- Report and track defects using test management tools.
- Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, scripts, and reports).
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure comprehensive testing.
- Conduct regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Face to face Interaction with customer to help explaining or showing the workaround or solution if there is a requirement.
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with SDLC and testing tools like JIRA.
