Solution Architect
Purpose of the job/ Overall responsibility
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, governing, and evolving end-to-end technology solutions within Contract Logistics IT. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT solutions aligned with corporate standards. This role is essential for enabling business transformation, application modernization, cloud adoption, and system integration.
Main Responsibilities:
Key duties include:
Design end-to-end solution architectures across applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure.
Translate business requirements into architectural designs and technical specifications.
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture principles and IT standards.
Drive loosely coupled and reuse-oriented architectural approaches.
Deliver Solution Design Document (SDD) compliant with IT Standards.
Partner with business units and IT teams to shape solution outcomes.
Act as a trusted advisor on technology choices.
Create and coordinate approval of solution designs through governance forums.
Provide architectural guidance during development and deployment phases.
Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to logistics.
Key Requirements:
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
7+ years of experience in IT, with 3+ years as a Solution Architect or similar role.
Proven experience designing solutions in large, complex, global enterprises.
Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries.
Practical knowledge of Warehouse management or Contract logistics.
Strong understanding of TOGAF and application architecture.
Experience with integration technologies and cloud platforms (Google, Azure, AWS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with architectural modeling and warehouse management systems.
Knowledge of software vendor evaluation and integration development.
