Solution Procurement Lead
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
- Develop and execute regional procurement and sourcing strategies for solution businesses.
- Establish and manage preferred supplier programs across strategic categories including equipment, systems, engineering services, subcontractors, and professional services.
- Drive supplier selection, sourcing activities, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
- Identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), improve supply continuity, and reduce supply chain risks.
- Build and maintain a qualified supplier base to support business growth and project delivery requirements.
- Lead supplier development initiatives to expand sourcing capabilities in Southeast Asia and other strategic markets.
Procurement Governance & ProcessManagement
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve procurement procedures, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Establish procurement controls, approval workflows, supplier onboarding processes, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with corporate policies, internal controls, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive standardization of procurement practices across countries and business units.
- Monitor procurement KPI performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Supplier Quality Management (SQM)
- Lead supplier qualification, evaluation, accreditation, and periodic re-certification programs.
- Develop supplier audit frameworks and conduct supplier quality system audits.
- Assess supplier quality systems, manufacturing capabilities, service delivery capabilities, and process controls.
- Drive supplier corrective action programs and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Establish supplier performance scorecards covering quality, delivery, responsiveness, service levels, safety, and compliance.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Service, and Solution Architecture teams to ensure supplier capability alignment.
- Lead supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation plans for critical suppliers.
- Monitor supplier non-conformance trends and drive root cause and corrective action management.
- Ensure suppliers meet contractual quality requirements, SLA commitments, and project delivery expectations.
Supplier Audit & Vendor Management
- Plan and execute supplier capability assessments and on-site audits.
- Evaluate suppliers across commercial, financial, technical, operational, quality, safety, and compliance dimensions.
- Lead supplier evaluation committees and support supplier onboarding decisions.
- Maintain supplier performance reviews and executive business reviews with strategic suppliers.
- Drive supplier improvement plans and supplier development programs.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Support strategic bids and large projects through supplier selection and commercial evaluation.
- Participate in project risk reviews and provide supply chain recommendations.
- Ensure suppliers are engaged early in project planning to improve competitiveness and execution success.
Qualifications
Education
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline.
- MBA is highly preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, or supplier management.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier qualification, supplier audit, supplier evaluation, and supplier development programs.
- Experience managing strategic suppliers, subcontractors, system integrators, engineering service providers, and equipment vendors.
- Experience supporting complex project-based businesses, EPC, system integration, automation, energy infrastructure, industrial, datacenter, or similar industries is highly preferred.
- Regional or multinational experience is preferred.
