Solutions Architect
Salary: $145k - $170k p.a.
Our client is looking for a collaborative, versatile Solutions Architect to join a close-knit and experienced architecture team. This is a broad, generalist role where you'll work across a varied portfolio of business and technology initiatives, turning complex requirements into practical solution blueprints and helping guide projects from concept through to delivery.
You'll provide technical leadership and direction to developers, project teams and stakeholders, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with the organisation's wider technology strategy. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to initiatives spanning AI, cloud, digital programmes, regulatory projects and major technology upgrades.
The environment is predominantly Microsoft, with extensive use of Azure, and current initiatives include the rollout of technologies such as GitHub Copilot and Snowflake AI capabilities, alongside broader infrastructure and business transformation work.
You'll bring:
- At least three years' solutions architecture experience
- Broad knowledge of modern technologies, platforms and solution patterns
- Experience translating business requirements into clear solution designs and architecture blueprints
- A good understanding of Microsoft technologies and Azure
- The ability to influence, communicate and provide practical technical direction to delivery teams
- Confidence working across multiple projects, technology areas and stakeholder groups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience delivering or rolling out AI solutions would be a bonus
Just as importantly, you'll enjoy working collaboratively. The architecture team is small and experienced, with a working style where ideas are tested openly, perspectives are shared and pragmatic solutions are developed together.
This is an opportunity to work on varied, high-impact projects in an organisation where technology plays a central role and where your input can genuinely shape the direction of solutions.
The package includes five weeks' annual leave, wellness leave, and hybrid working.
If you're a pragmatic architect who enjoys solving complex problems, working across a broad technology landscape and bringing people together, we'd love to hear from you.
