Sourcing Manager - AI Infrastructure
You will lead strategic sourcing for AI infrastructure commodities and suppliers. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, evaluate supplier capabilities, build cost models, drive supplier performance and mitigate supply chain risks while partnering with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own sourcing strategy development and execution
- Identify and qualify suppliers
- Manage RFQ and RFP processes
- Evaluate suppliers commercially
- Select suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and technology roadmaps
- Lead commercial negotiations
- Build cost models and benchmark analyses
- Drive supplier performance management
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Monitor industry trends and supplier landscapes
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Quality, Operations and Manufacturing
- Report supplier performance and sourcing risks to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related subject area
- Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management or supply chain roles
- Knowledge of AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, servers, networking or storage technologies
- Experience leading supplier negotiations, commercial agreements and sourcing projects
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- Experience with cost modelling, pricing analysis and total cost of ownership methodologies
- Experience managing supplier performance
- Ability to assess technical requirements
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience sourcing infrastructure hardware, compute platforms, servers, networking equipment, storage systems or PCBAs
- Familiarity with global supplier ecosystems
- Experience supporting data centre, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure or HPC deployments
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and new product introduction
- Experience with supplier risk management and business continuity
- Knowledge of responsible sourcing and sustainability
