Sourcing Manager - Memory and Storage
You will lead strategic sourcing for memory and storage technologies supporting AI infrastructure platforms. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, build cost models, monitor technology trends, manage supplier performance, mitigate risks, and support product launches and production ramps.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for memory and storage technologies
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, technology, capacity, and delivery metrics
- Influence technology roadmaps and supplier selection decisions
- Lead RFIs, RFQs, commercial evaluations, business awards, and contract negotiations
- Negotiate pricing agreements, supply agreements, capacity commitments, and commercial frameworks
- Develop cost models, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership analyses
- Monitor technology developments and industry trends
- Drive supplier performance management through reviews, scorecards, corrective action plans, and improvement initiatives
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Support product launches, production ramps, and ongoing supply
- Align supplier readiness and supply availability with programme requirements
- Report supplier performance, market conditions, commercial opportunities, and supply chain risks to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline
- Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement, or supply chain roles within technology, electronics, infrastructure, semiconductor, or hardware environments
- Understanding of DRAM, SSD, HDD, and related infrastructure components
- Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies for complex technology products and supply chains
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements, supplier contracts, and strategic partnerships
