Sr Engineer, Product Design
What You Will Do
- Assist in new product design, optimization, and NPI launch debugging under the guidance of a Senior Engineer or Supervisor.
- Collaborate with global team to ensure successful NPI launches by:
- Reviewing new concepts with manufacturing teams to assess feasibility and alignment with plant capabilities
- Supporting technical analysis activities including POC, FEA, and Tolerance Analysis
- Proposing alternative design solutions to address gaps in meeting target specifications
- Managing activities related to FOT, FSV, and DVP&R testing
- Support existing products that are already in production
- Provide engineering support for customer quality issues to maintain and improve product reliability
- Assist the plant in driving cost reduction initiatives and yield improvements
- Develop product modifications and series expansions to enhance market competitiveness
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
· 2+ years’ mechanical product design experience
- Familiar with product development processes.
- Understanding design tools such as Tolerance analysis, GD & T, DFMEA, and FEA
- Basic knowledge of component design techniques including insert-molding, die casting, sheet metal stamping, and plating
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Detail-oriented, creative, and equipped with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal teams and external customers
- Self-motivated and confident in taking initiative independently
- Capable of working under pressure
· Proficiency in English both verbally and written
