Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop processor, FPGA, and mixed-signal hardware platforms.
  • Develop camera sensor boards, FPGA-based and processor-based image processing platforms, and embedded systems.
  • Design high-speed digital interfaces including DDR memory, Ethernet, USB, MIPI CSI/DSI, LVDS, and related interfaces.
  • Perform schematic capture, PCB layout guidance, board bring-up, debugging, and verification testing.
  • Support NPI activities through design reviews, prototype validation, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Support sustaining engineering, including EOL component replacement, cost reduction, root cause investigations, and field issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with software, FPGA, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams.
  • Work with external contractors and design partners to define requirements, review deliverables, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Support EMC, safety, and product compliance activities.

Desired Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.

  • 5+ years of hardware development experience.
  • Strong experience with complex digital hardware and embedded systems.
  • Experience with FPGA-based systems and high-speed digital design.
  • Experience with board bring-up, validation, manufacturing support, and sustaining engineering.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools.
  • Strong hands-on skills in electronics prototyping, soldering, and using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, etc.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluent Czech is a big plus.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to team efforts.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.

  • Open to occasional business travels.

  • Eligible to work legally in Czech republic.
