Sr IT Systems Engineer (macOS and iOS Management)
IT Systems Engineers are responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of technology solutions. They provide technical support, perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of technology solutions

This position is a hybrid work arrangement that combines in-office engagement at our corporate office in Jacksonville, FL, days and times are determined and based on the requirements of the business.
Ideal candidates live within 50 miles of Jacksonville, FL and open to relocation

What You Will Be Doing
Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology
Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations
Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards
Researches, designs, implements and tests technology solutions
Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies
Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures
Resolves alerts and performs remediation activities
Manages problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners
Collects and presents data for reporting and planning
Assists with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to systems/application administration
Determines migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors
Collaborates with IT and business area partners on work groups and initiatives
Determines best course of action for meeting business needs
May provide input into infrastructure architecture designs
Writes programming/scripting
May participate in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises
Ensures execution and alignment to architectural standards and blueprints
May contribute input to infrastructure architecture
Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies
What We Require
5 years managing and supporting Apple macOS, iOS and iPadOS devices in an enterprise environment
Prior experience working in healthcare, health insurance or financial environments as it relates to HIPAA, PCI, SOC2, HITRUST and CMS Compliance
Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration
Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system
Extensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
What We Prefer
JAMF Certified Administrator or higher-level JAMF certification required
Advanced working knowledge and experience managing JAMF Pro, including policies, configuration profiles, smart groups, patch management, extension attributes and API/scripted automation
Advanced experience with Apple Business Manager, Automated Device Enrollment (ADE), and Apple's Volume Purchase Program (VPP)
Advanced experience with macOS imaging, packaging (PKG/DMG), Jamf Composer and scripted software deployment
Design and administration of zero-touch deployment and MDM enrollment workflows for Mac, iOS and iPadOS devices
Experience implementing Declarative Device Management (DDM) alongside traditional MDM payloads
Strong knowledge of macOS security and compliance baselines (FileVault, Gatekeeper, System Integrity Protection, CIS benchmarks)
Experience integrating Apple devices with identity/SSO providers such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID, including Platform SSO
Experience with patch and software deployment automation using AutoPkg, Installomator, or Munki
Experience deploying and maintaining endpoint security/EDR agents on macOS
Experience with Apple Configurator for supervised device workflows
Multiple Site support
Confidence supporting 10,000 plus user site/sites
Working knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP as they relate to device binding and authentication integration
Installation, management and administration of SSL Certificates leveraging JAMF Pro as well as external enterprise tools
Working knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols, standards and methodologies
Working knowledge of networking fundamentals as they relate to endpoint deployment, including VPN, 802.1x, proxy, and DNS/DHCP for zero-touch enrollment
Strong PowerShell and Bash/shell scripting experience, including JAMF API scripting for automation
Strong knowledge of Apple device implementation and management in a clinic environment
Evaluates current procedures and processes for accomplishing department objectives and continuously develops and implements improved practices
Responsible for proper escalation, communications, and management of production system problems
Contact vendors for problem and incident resolution

Typical Annualized Offer/Hiring Range: $100,400 - $125,500
Annualized Salary Range: $100,400 - $163,200
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
