Staff Engineer Server Hardware Compute Blade and Rack Validation Lead
You will lead post-silicon validation of next-generation AI compute blades and racks across the full lifecycle. You will plan and automate tests, provision and integrate system components, execute validation programs, triage failures, collect debug data, track coverage, improve validation infrastructure, collaborate with partners, and mentor engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead post-silicon validation of AI compute blades and racks
- Plan, develop, and automate validation tests
- Drive provisioning and integration of SoC firmware, BMC, RMC, and operating systems
- Execute validation programs and report progress and risks
- Triage test failures and collect debug data
- Collaborate on root cause analysis
- Track validation coverage and improve test processes and infrastructure
- Collaborate with ODM and JDM partners on validation and quality
- Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven track record in system, rack, or embedded validation with leadership experience
- Strong experience in large-scale hardware validation environments
- Expertise in CPU, GPU, memory, IO, and firmware validation
- Experience with Linux or server operating systems and Python or Bash automation
- Knowledge of IPMI, Redfish, and PLDM
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and hardware interfaces
- Experience in hyperscale environments is desirable
- Familiarity with OpenBMC and firmware verification is desirable
- Knowledge of firmware security and hardware-in-the-loop testing is desirable
- Experience with test management tools is desirable
