Staff Hardware Project Engineer
You will coordinate multiple development teams and provide technical oversight for system-level hardware deliverables. You will plan milestones, risks, and execution, coordinate hardware and manufacturing disciplines, manage deliverables through the product lifecycle, identify mitigations, support program reviews, and resolve cross-functional issues with internal teams and ODM partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project milestones, risks, and execution plans
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across hardware, mechanical, electrical, firmware, BIOS, BMC, signal integrity, thermal, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations
- Manage development engineering deliverables through each product lifecycle phase
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support program reviews with status reporting and data-driven decisions
- Coordinate issue resolution across engineering organizations
- Work directly with ODM partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of project engineering experience or an appropriate level of experience
- Strong understanding of digital and mixed-signal electronic systems
- Experience working with ODMs, contract manufacturers, or external engineering partners
- Strong hardware background
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
- International and domestic travel as needed
- Experience with server, networking, embedded, AI/ML hardware, or data center platforms is desirable
- Experience supporting NPI and manufacturing ramp activities is desirable
- Experience with schematic review and PCB design fundamentals is desirable
