Staff Product Data Scientist Lending
You will build, measure, and improve lending and credit products. You will define metrics, evaluate experiments, analyze customer behavior, develop measurement frameworks, monitor risk performance and bias, use AI tools across the data science workflow, lead technical standards, connect insights across lending products, and mentor data scientists.
Responsibilities
- Turn product, customer, and risk data into insights and decision frameworks
- Use AI tools and agent workflows to accelerate analytical work
- Own analysis, metrics definition, experimentation, forecasting, visualization, and decision support
- Define and maintain measurement frameworks for credit products
- Evaluate model and policy performance with risk teams
- Monitor cohorts and identify bias or drift
- Design and analyze experiments, rollouts, and policy changes
- Communicate insights to technical, product, business, and risk stakeholders
- Lead technical direction and standards for the Data Science team
- Create reusable frameworks, measurement templates, and scalable tooling
- Connect measurement and insights across Lending products
- Mentor and develop junior data scientists
- Contribute to hiring through interviews and calibrations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, economics, computer science, or a similar quantitative field with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with 6-8+ years of relevant experience
