Staff Senior Staff Software Engineer Matching Engine
You design, develop, and optimize high-performance matching-engine and exchange systems. You build reliable, scalable, low-latency software, diagnose complex issues including assembly-level problems, collaborate on new features, write maintainable code, conduct reviews and performance testing, and apply AI-driven techniques to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable, low-latency systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues
- Use advanced troubleshooting tools to ensure system stability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features
- Explore new technologies and AI-driven innovations
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Conduct code reviews, performance testing, and quality assurance
- Use AI tools to analyze and improve system performance and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Expertise in Java or C++
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, concurrency, and system-level programming
- Experience developing and optimizing low-latency, high-throughput systems
- Expertise in performance tuning, memory management, and concurrency optimization
- Proficiency with profilers, debuggers, and log analyzers
- Ability to perform low-level and assembly-language debugging
- STEM education background
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design, and network protocols
- Experience with high-availability and high-performance systems
- Familiarity with real-time applications or high-frequency trading platforms
- Knowledge of message-oriented middleware or asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin
