Staff Site Reliability Engineer
You will lead the SRE function for trading systems and set technical direction across reliability initiatives. You will troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call operations, automate deployments and incident response, establish monitoring and service objectives, manage infrastructure with Terraform, and apply security and compliance practices across deployments.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for reliability initiatives and mentor engineers
- Analyze troubleshoot and remediate production issues
- Participate in the weekly 12x7 on-call rotation and weekend deployments
- Perform root cause analysis and remediate production incidents
- Build tools to automate repetitive tasks deployments and incident responses
- Design monitoring and alerting systems and track SLIs and SLOs
- Use Infrastructure as Code to provision scale and manage platforms
- Collaborate with Product Engineering Operations and cross-functional teams
- Implement security and compliance practices including SOC 2 and PCI DSS
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering
- Expertise with Kubernetes Docker and container orchestration
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in Python Bash or Go
- Experience with Ansible Terraform or Helm
- Hands-on experience with AWS GCP or Azure
- In-depth knowledge of cloud networking security and identity management
- Knowledge of Prometheus Grafana Datadog or similar monitoring and observability tools
- Strong collaboration communication and leadership skills
- Ability to influence technical decisions and mentor junior engineers
- Trading industry experience
- Contributions to open-source projects
