Staff Software Engineer - Money Movement

You will provide technical leadership for Adyen’s global money movement systems, shape architecture and design for financial products, optimize banking connections across regions, build new banking rails, mentor engineers, and promote continuous technical innovation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably banking or fintech
• 15+ years of hands-on development experience
• Technical leadership experience
• Experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems
• Strong hands-on Java coding experience
• Platform mindset
• Ability to generalize complex processes into simple flexible services
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across cultures
• Experience with banking in the EU, UK, or US is preferred
• Experience working in both European and US markets is preferred
