Staff System Software Engineer

You will plan, design, implement, test, and document low-level kernel drivers and user-space driver libraries. You will use C, C++, and Python, participate in agile development, collaborate with software and hardware engineers, and work closely with hardware and silicon teams during product development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and document OS kernel and device driver software
• Participate in agile development
• Contribute to technical discussions
• Work with software and hardware engineers, architects, and stakeholders
• Support product development with hardware and silicon engineering teams

Requirements

• Industry software development experience with C, C++, or Python
• OS kernel and device driver development experience
• Linux or Windows experience
• Understanding of low-level software and hardware interactions
• Debugging and performance analysis experience
• Experience with PCIe, CPU, device drivers, SoC, firmware, or hardware/software integration
• Written and verbal communication skills
