Job Description:
· Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize lead times while maintaining high product quality.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components to meet production schedules.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing excess inventory while ensuring product availability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to forecast production needs and optimize production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Implement robust quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager, with a proven track record of success in optimizing supply chain operations.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is essential, with a deep understanding of production processes, quality control, and supplier management.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of supply chain projects to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
- Proficiency in inventory management principles, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement principles, with experience implementing process optimization initiatives to streamline operations and reduce waste.
