Supply Chain Security Leader

The Risk Management & Compliance function leads, steers, and supports the business to safeguard the IKEA brand by identifying, anticipating on, navigation through opportunities and risks on the base of IKEA values and culture. Together with effective monitoring and follow-up, this leads to risk aware decision taking and practical business control.
Risk Management & Compliance works closely together with the various organizational levels and provides support to:
1) Strengthen the IKEA brand and protect our assets
2) Maintain an overall risk aware culture
3) Steer and lead compliance activities
In this role you will help safeguard People, Assets and Brand by proactively supporting the business with a focus on Supply Chain Security and influence managers as well as co-workers to establish a risk aware culture. You ensure compliance across the end-to-end supply chain for the Americas with local regulations and the Inter IKEA Group Policies for Supply Chain Security. You are the center of expertise in Supply Chain Security matters and actively work with the business to transfer knowledge into the organization.
About the job
- Secure the Inter IKEA Group Supply Chain Security (SCS) program (ISO and other relevant programs) is maintained and developed following business needs and external factors including governance, requirements, steering documents, ways of working and communication in the region.
- Develop, implement and maintain a SCS community across the region and trademark users, supporting the business to implement SCS requirements.
- Follow up and provide assurance on the level of compliance to SCS requirements (ISO and other relevant programs) within the region.
- Periodically report the status of SCS including incidents, trends, new regulations, and actions needed to relevant management and organizations.
- Implement and maintain the global incident management system for SCS incidents in the region.
- Secure SCS competence in the business through communication and training.
- Ensure that SCS requirements (ISO and other relevant programs) are reflected in relevant key processes, steering documents and working methods.
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis into SCS incidents together with relevant business partners and authorities following applicable policies and regulations.
- Create and maintain a strong working relationship with relevant authorities and other IKEA brand users in the region.
- Proactively identify current and emerging SCS related risks and secure that these are addressed in the business following the Inter IKEA Group risk methodology.
- Support Regional and global SCS and R&C projects/tasks when/where required.
- Identify talents and develop people to secure succession planning.
- Well versed in Supply Chain Security programs, including AEO, OEA, PIP and other similar programs but also Certifications and Customs Procedures.
- Strong leadership skills to work with all levels of our organization, with business partners, and external authorities in a complex environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Risk Assessment methodology.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant Supply Chain Security policies, tools and working methods within Inter IKEA relevant to the market and local Regulation.
- Ability to conduct and document Supply Chain Security, reviews, and investigations.
- Very structured and detailed, with strong report writing skills.
- Very good knowledge of USA, Mexico, and Canadian Customs
- Language English and preferably Spanish, oral and written.
