SURVEY PROJECT MANAGER SUMMARY
The Survey Project Manager oversees land surveying projects from initiation through completion. This role leads project teams across one or more business units; coordinates field crews; manages schedules, budgets, and deliverables; ensures the accuracy of survey data; conducts research; and maintains compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and addressing questions or concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage proposals, project scopes, work plans, schedules, staffing assignments, budgets, quality-control reviews, reports, and project documentation.
- Train and mentor junior staff while supporting compliance with ethical standards, industry requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage survey teams, and ensure survey activities follow established protocols and timelines.
- Develop and implement survey methodologies; analyze survey data; and present findings, recommendations, and project updates to management.
- Conduct field surveys safely and professionally in a variety of weather and site conditions.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
