System Support Officer

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Melbourne team as a Systems Support Officer.
About the role:
The Systems Support Officer is responsible for providing first and second-level support for the organisation's business systems, including ERP, EDI, B2B, and cloud-based applications. The role also provides general IT support to end users, assisting with technical issues related to computer hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, and other peripherals. The Systems Support Officer acts as a key liaison between business users, IT service providers, software vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the reliable operation of business
You will be responsible for:
Provide day-to-day support for ERP, EDI, B2B, and cloud-based business applications
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related incidents and user enquiries
Monitor and support EDI transactions and data exchange processes
Assist users with business application functionality and operational issues
Perform user account administration, including access provisioning and permission management
Escalate complex issues to software vendors or external support providers as required
Assist with application testing, upgrades, patches, and system enhancements
Provide first and second-level IT support to users via phone, email, remote support, and in-person assistance
Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, software, and operating system issues
Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues including wired and wireless network connections, internet connectivity, VPN access, network printer connectivity, and DNS and DHCP related issues
Skills and experience:
3–5 years' experience in IT support, application support, or business systems support
Experience supporting ERP, business applications, or cloud-based systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Understanding of EDI, B2B integration, or electronic data exchange concepts
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 applications and services
Practical knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Enterprise Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity
Hands on experience supporting printers, desktop, laptops and other IT hardware
Experience with SharePoint Online and Teams
