Systems Configuration Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Systems Configuration Analyst to manage and maintain configuration settings for enterprise applications and business platforms. This role is responsible for configuring system rules, business logic, workflows, and reference data to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and efficiency of internal systems used in operations, compliance, or insurance-related workflows.
The ideal candidate has experience working with configurable platforms or case management tools, understands system dependencies, and is capable of working cross-functionally with business and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute system configuration tasks, including setting up business rules, workflows, access controls, and reference data.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather configuration requirements and translate them into platform logic.
- Maintain and update configuration documentation, process maps, and system references.
- Support system releases, testing, and validation of new configuration changes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot configuration issues, and coordinate resolutions with support or development teams.
- Perform regular audits of configuration data and ensure alignment with operational standards and controls.
- Assist in implementing user requests for enhancements or adjustments in line with business goals.
- Participate in UAT, regression testing, and impact assessments for system updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a systems configuration, application support, or data administration role, preferably in a shared services or insurance environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, case/workflow management, or insurance admin systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to understand complex business logic and translate it into system configuration.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
