Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking a Tactical Systems Administrator to support testing, deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of the customers mobile situational-awareness and secure information-sharing capabilities. This position coordinates with the customers Cloud Team, TACCOM personnel, field users, and enterprise technical teams to maintain operational readiness.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support testing, deployment, administration, operation, and sustainment of the Team Awareness Kit (TAK) environment
  • Provide engineering and technical support to troubleshoot and resolve TAK-related issues
  • Administer TAK in coordination with the customer’s Cloud Team
  • Support user onboarding, offboarding, configuration, and access activities
  • Support mobile-device integration, certificate deployment, and operational-event requirements
  • Coordinate with TACCOM personnel, field users, cloud teams, and enterprise technical teams
  • Monitor readiness and support field deployments, exercises, special operations, and emergency response
  • Document issues, resolutions, configurations, and system-support actions

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience supporting the testing, deployment, administration, troubleshooting, or sustainment of Team Awareness Kit (TAK) or a comparable mobile situational-awareness and secure information-sharing system.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting testing, deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of TAK or a comparable mobile situational-awareness and secure information-sharing system
  • Technical knowledge of mobile-device integration, certificate support, and user onboarding and offboarding
  • Experience with system configuration and operational-event support
  • Experience coordinating with cloud or enterprise IT teams in a secure Government or law-enforcement environment
  • Ability to provide onsite and field support, including nonstandard hours when operationally required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the DHS suitability determination required for access to systems and facilities
  • U.S. citizenship required because the position involves the operation, management, or maintenance of DHS IT systems

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $55,374.10 - $74,917.90. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
