Talent Acquisition Associate
Responsibilities
Proactively headhunt candidates on LinkedIn and other platforms
Build talent pipelines before positions become urgent
Search and reactivate candidates from existing databases, Excel trackers and previous hiring pipelines
Screen applicants and assess communication, motivation, character and potential
Conduct candidate outreach through LinkedIn, phone, WhatsApp and email
Build relationships with universities, student organizations and career offices
Identify career fairs, hiring events, communities and partnerships worth participating in
Build and maintain structured candidate databases
Track salary expectations, candidate feedback and hiring-market trends
Coordinate interviews and maintain a strong candidate experience
Experiment with new sourcing channels and report what is actually working
Requirements
- An excellent communicator in English
- Naturally curious and resourceful
- Comfortable reaching out to people you've never spoken to
- A good judge of people and character
- Organized and reliable with follow-through
- Persistent when the obvious approach isn't working
- Comfortable with targets and measurable output
- Someone who creates work for themselves instead of waiting to be assigned it
